The delicate, fragile body of a human, a woman, is a victim of armed conflict. Four exceptional artists, experienced by the war, make their bodies an art but also a weapon against violence. The themes of the Balkan Wars, the conflict in the Middle East, the Iranian revolution and fascism are transformed by the artists into unique artworks, while at the same time being a strong political and socially important statement. The director portrays delicate, sensitive women, yet full of power and strength: Marina Abramović, Sigalit Landau, Shirin Neshat and Katharina Sieverding. They all oppose death, rape and war-related violence, on every war.
