Tomasz Gąssowski (1963), Polish composer, producer and director, graduated from the Development Lab, film directing course at the Wajda School, member of the Polish Film Academy. Musician – passionate.

He has won numerous awards for scores as well as for music for commercials, including MocArt RMF Classic in the category: Film Music of the Year 2013 for the score for “Imagine”. He often cooperates with Andrzej Jakimowski. Gąssowski wrote music for, among others, “Squint Your Eyes” and “Tricks”. He is a juror of this year’s International Short Film Competition at the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival. During the Cinema Lesson, we will explore the issues of the score composer’s cooperation with the director or the invaluable role of music in film.
