DESCRIPTION
Home – the word for family has a completely different meaning than for a municipal clerk or developer. The inevitable cost of urban expansion for the family of eleven is a loss of a roof over their heads. For twenty years they lived in perfect harmony with nature in the Danube Delta on the outskirts of Bucharest. Their natural environment, where they functioned according to the rhythm of the seasons and fished with bare hands is transformed into a national park. The Enache family must adapt to new life they never ask for and face life in the big city.

DIRECTOR
Radu Ciorniciuc, Romanian filmmaker. In 2012 he co-founded the first independent media organization in Romania, Casa Jurnalistului. He works as a long-form writer and undercover investigative reporter, focusing on human rights, animal welfare, and environmental issues across the globe. His work has been published on Channel 4 News, the Guardian, and Al Jazeera and has received numerous international awards, including from Amnesty International, the Royal Television Society, and the Wincott Foundation. “Acasă, my home” is his brilliant debut, screened and awarded at film festivals around the world.FILMOGRAPHY
