DESCRIPTION

The Americans say that behind every successful man stands a woman. The marriage of Vivian Liberto and country music icon Johnny Cash lasted 12 years, they had four daughters. Before they got married, they wrote thousands of letters to each other – Cash served in the army, in a unit in Germany. Just one month after Cash was discharged they got married. The success came quickly and Johnny Cash from a US Air Force cadet became a star on the stage. The following years of fame, endless tours and drugs kept the artist away from his family and the marriage broke up. After so many years we have a chance to learn the story from Vivian’s perspective.
