The International Short Film Competition has been on the Two Riversides Festival since its second edition. This year, 34 productions from around the world have been qualified for the competition. Today we got to know the winners.
The 14th Film and Art Festival Two Riversides begins on 1st August. Due to the situation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and because our primary concern is the safety of our Audience, we have decided to organise the Festival in a “hybrid” version.
We announce the list of selected films for the International Short Film Competition. For many years those screenings have enjoyed great interest of our viewers – we do know why. Each competition block is an opportunity to meet new filmmakers who are already deciding on the future of cinema. ISFC are films which, referring to cinematographic traditions, search for original means of expression, tell unconventional stories and consciously break taboos.
Dear Viewers, Two Riversides Lovers, Kazimierz, Janowiec and Mięćmierz Inhabitants — in recent months coronavirus dominated almost every aspect of our lives, putting society to the severe test. It also took its toll on film and culture industry. It is an extremely difficult moment for everyone but we have decided not to give up and to make this year’s Two Riversides Festival happen. Although it will have a new formula, which has been designed specifically for the occasion, the date remains the same, namely: August 1-9 2020.
